The Power of Thoughts:
Shaping Reality and Health
The power of thoughts extends far beyond mere mental processes; they are fundamental in shaping our reality, influencing our emotions, actions, and even our physical health.
This profound connection between mind and body is evidenced by numerous psychological and medical studies, particularly those exploring the placebo effect. Understanding how our thoughts impact us can lead to transformative changes in our lives.
The Placebo Effect: Mind Over Matter
One of the most compelling examples of the power of thoughts is the placebo effect.
This phenomenon occurs when a person experiences real improvements in their health after receiving a treatment with no therapeutic value, simply because they believe it is effective. The placebo effect demonstrates that our expectations and beliefs can significantly alter our physical state. For instance, a patient who believes they are taking pain-relieving medication may experience reduced pain, even if the pill is just a sugar tablet.
Psychological Influence on Physical Health
Positive thinking and a hopeful mindset trigger beneficial physiological changes.
When we harbor optimistic thoughts, our brain releases neurotransmitters like endorphins and serotonin, which can enhance mood and reduce pain. Conversely, negative thoughts and stress can lead to the release of cortisol and other stress hormones, which can suppress the immune system and contribute to various health issues.
Thoughts and Stress Management
Our thoughts also play a crucial role in managing stress.
Techniques such as mindfulness, meditation, and cognitive-behavioral therapy focus on altering thought patterns to reduce stress and improve mental health. By fostering a mindset of calm and positivity, we can mitigate the adverse effects of stress and promote overall well-being.
Building Resilience and Achieving Goals
The power of thoughts extends to our ability to overcome challenges and achieve our goals.
Positive affirmations and visualization techniques are tools that athletes, leaders, and successful individuals often use to maintain motivation and resilience. By visualizing success and reinforcing positive beliefs, we can enhance our performance and persistence in the face of obstacles.
Cultivating a Positive Mindset
To harness the power of thoughts, it is essential to cultivate a positive mindset.
Practices such as gratitude journaling, positive affirmations, and surrounding oneself with supportive individuals can reinforce positive thinking. Additionally, being aware of negative thought patterns and actively working to reframe them can significantly impact our mental and physical health.
In conclusion, the power of thoughts is a testament to the intricate connection between our mind and body. By understanding and leveraging this power, we can influence our health, manage stress, build resilience, and achieve our goals. The placebo effect is just one example of how our beliefs and expectations can manifest in tangible ways, highlighting the importance of nurturing a positive and hopeful mindset.
Healing - Refuah can help you to get a positive mind:
Energetic Massage
A tense emotional body causes physical tensions - when we relax our physical body, our emotional tensions are loosened first.
Because without relaxed thoughts, no relaxation is possible in our physical body.
Therefore, the energetic massage in combination with the Middle Pillar is an excellent means of achieving inner and outer relaxation.
Our breath is life energy, and when our muscles have become too rigid to flow with the flow of life, then this can also be an escape from life or an inner separation from it.
Rhythmic and deep breathing
with the chest and diaphragm can bring about a significant improvement.

Pain Treatment or
Equalisation of Emotions
The Tiqqun ha-Nefesh technique is not only an excellent means of healing unbalanced emotions, it is also very suitable for treating pain.
It consists of 5 steps. Each one is related to one of the sefirot of the middle pillar:
Keter - Our intention to improve well-being
Daat - The concept of "the pain" and letting go of negative emotions and physical tension
Tiferet - Accepting the message
Jesod - Dissolving negative body sensations
Malchut - Enjoy the result
Each of the individual steps is a powerful healing technique that is often sufficient on its own - but in combination they are an extremely effective and holistic technique for treating pain.

Healing Technique of the Middle Pillar
Our energy is an enormous potential that we can utilise to bring health and happiness into our lives.
The Middle Pillar healing technique allows us to draw this energy down into the power centres of our astral body and use it for our healing and well-being.
This exercise was developed to its present form by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and popularised by Israel Regardie (then a member of the Golden Dawn).
The version I use in my applications is by Salomo Baal-Shem.
Salomo Baal-Shem, a personal student of Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki, is a third-degree initiate and adept of the Western mystery tradition. He is the founder of the Brotherhood of the Eternal Light.
It is important to note that this exercise does not work on the level of the chakren, which are the "spiritual organs" or energy centres of the etheric body, but with the sefirot, which are the "spiritual organs" or energy centres of the astral body that belong to the level above the etheric level.
By working on the astral level, which is higher than the etheric level, we enable a more effective healing process, as the system of action of the four levels always works from top to bottom.
